Last Wednesday, July 2 , we made a new monthly webinar (yes, this time with a 'tad' of delay) and to release the summer we leave you again the rural referents .
We had this conversation with Jacobo Monereo, which is one of the co -founders of an incredible project: Regeneration Academy .
He, along with his companions, are getting things worthy from a small village in Murcia (La Junquera) and are also doing it based on regenerative and sustainable agriculture What else can you ask for? Well, having a conversation with him and will tell us first hand.
Jacobo studied economics in Madrid and after a few years working in the technological sector changed his direction to the agri-food sector, with more than 10 years of experience and with an MBA in agrifood business management co-direct the regeneration academy since 2019.
Of course, it was an open space, in which to interact and share.
Sowing knowledge from the Junquera
From Regeneration Academy, they shared with us a lot of information of utility, data, impacts and knowledge about regenerative agriculture, come on., That was to finish the webinar and we wanted everyone to go out to the field and plant something.
Jacobo told us how the project arose, the challenges they faced (and face) and how they reached an 'inhospitable' place only 3 people and have transformed it into a place full of life.
I also tell us how they are working from the Rural Murciano/Andaluz, how they are building a more sustainable future through formations, transmission of knowledge and putting a lot on the terrero.
In addition, within the conversation with her we also had answers to questions such as: What are the biggest challenges they identify right now to undertake from a rural environment? What impacts are currently generating in the rural environment? Or who are mainly aimed at the projects that are underway from Regeneration Academy?
If you have more interest in knowing everything we are talking about during this conversation, we invite you to see it on our YouTube Ah, yes! And to subscribe to it, if you have not done so 🤗
