How long is it needed to transcend?

Gonzalo Fernández's post blog in which he tells us about what he lived during the 'Pop-up Coliving' Almagro 2024 through the terms 'transcender' and 'transcendence'

Article written by Gonzalo Fernández, participant in the 'Pop-Up Coliving' Almagro 2024, as well as in the experiences of ancient and fuencaliente.

How long is it needed to transcend?

1 year is 365 days, 52 weeks and 8760 hours

On March 14, 2021, pueblos remotos was born

3 years (which are 624 weeks) later publish their first impact report, you can see it here .

On March 14, 2024 there is the farewell of the second edition of Pop-Up Coliving, this time in Almagro (Ciudad Real), what I am going to talk about here.

35 days, which are 840 hours, are the ones that have passed (approximately) from the end of the experience until the end of the writing of the article (April 19 is 2024)

What does it mean to transcend?

According to the AI, "transcend" refers to going beyond the established limits , exceeding a certain limit or extending to other areas producing consequences . In a deeper sense, transcending involves making more flexible, opening to new experiences without judgment and overcoming the limits, beliefs and ego to achieve a higher level of consciousness and exploring new opportunities in life . In philosophical terms, transcending implies going beyond the possible experience, penetrating the hidden, understanding something that was hidden or reaching a higher level of understanding . Transcendence is related to personal growth, continuous learning, overcoming obstacles and the expansion of consciousness to achieve new meanings and perspectives in life.

According to Google:

Exhaling smell so alive and uploaded that it penetrates and extends at a great distance.

Said of something that was hidden: begin to be known or known.

According to the SAR, you can see it here .

For me, there are:

  • People

  • Experiences

  • Places

  • Artists

  • Songs

  • or other things

that transcend transversely in your life, even " forever ."

To give a personal example: Ana Ruiz Sánchez , today partner of the Sustainability and Transcendent , transcended in my life; Thanks to her, who mentioned me with my Appdermis project, I discovered that not all my skills were techniques and that I was able to launch a project from scratch. In addition, in the sector I did, in the digital health sector, it helped me to discover that there was my Ikigai: help people through technology.

I would not be working as Project Manager in Roche if Ana Ruiz had not transcended me.

On the other hand, Elsa in this article that if they had to close the remote villages project, she together with Carlos (co -founder of the project) had already transcended; and they would have transcended a lot of people who have participated in one of the experiences of remote peoples . Not only that; The term "connected rurality" has allowed these connections between people to have transcended rural places and entrepreneurs.
I would not know that there is not only “sun and beach” tourism in the Canary Islands if it were not for remote peoples.

Finally, the first (and previous) edition of Pop-Up Coliving remote villages was in Villarejo de Salvanés (province of Madrid) and my inspiration to register this article came when I ran I passed in front of the Ramón Park, in my town. Ramón was a person who had no family (and that could tell us that he did not transcend in his life) but today the name of the park is his name because all the money he earned in his life left him for communal use).

I would not have discovered things from my people if I had not helped them define the first edition of Pop-Up Coliving in Villarejo.

In the town of Almagro (Province of Ciudad Real) the second edition of Pop-Up Coliving was held. As an example of rural entrepreneurs we had:

  • Almauga oil brand (very typical ocher color of the province of Castilla La Mancha) to be able to feed their daughters consciously combining in its nature and health project

  • Vero, who taught us why he decided to return after living in Madrid to devote himself to what he likes most (teach to work ceramics with limestone ) from the town of his partner.

  • To people who learn to lace bobbins every Tuesday and Thursday at the museum of lace and the blond, with Nati as an instructor.

  • To the Bethlehem Guide (which allowed us to visit Almagro (physically and in a theatrical way) to know in detail all the lives that the town has had and how the Comedias Corral promoted that the theater has made it a tourist reference.

  • And finally the podetry cheese that transcended our stomachs through a pairing workshop with its cheeses; They are a generation of three brothers (Virginia, Cristina and Lorenzo) that carry out the entire sheep cheese production process (and we know that new generations are on their way)

Although people with the textile technique of bolillos lace disappear, there will continue to be things done with these entertaining threads (bobbin lace)

In addition to the previous activities, we were able to enjoy:

  • A collaborative leadership workshop led by Elsa.

  • An organized regenerative design workshop directed by Nuria.

  • A Mastermind session could not be missing, this time facilitated by Lara.

  • An exquisite dinner organized by Clem, which in addition to having sensational sheets is an excellent cook and is beginning to organize dinners in Barcelona.

  • And billions of improvised conversations that became mentoring sessions or even inspirational talks of several people aligned with their values, which are usually the same as Pueblos Remotos .

Surely you don't want to join the next edition (and transcend)?

About transcendence (in Almagro)

Last night it was the unofficial "farewell" of the experience of remote peoples Pop-up Coliving Almagro 2024 🌾 and Sabela (one of the participants) has inspired me to write this text.

Penetration, insight.

Result, consequence of a serious or very important nature.

Several articles talk about the impact of transcending life (in the personal part through the family or in the professional part through your job or project in which you participate/cre) and how that affects our mental health. To this day every time you live less in community and that makes us affect us in our day to day (as individual people and business workers).

She commented that the other day visiting a logistics and orders company, faith lost a little in humanity (because of the magnitude of what she saw and how we can consume so much), but just after she came to this experience; And as she said "I think there are still people who make this world go to better."

Being transcendent, as we understand today, is to leave a legacy in time for when you no longer live in this world in the future (there was talk of the construction of monuments, the creation of religions, etc.).

In this particular case that applies to us: what Carlos and Elsa have been able to achieve with their project Pueblos Remotos is:

  • Create a community of people who transcends the experiences they organize, because also the contact between them is not limited to those seven or 21 days. People have been out of these experiences to share time and as they are starting to do since last year. They have created an annual event last year in Villarejo and this year in Almagro, which will happen during the next weekend.

  • Group people from different origins and sectors (the only thing that unites us first is that we can work remotely) around a concept such as rurality connected in mission, vision and values (when annual events happen and we begin to share Experiences we realize that we are all on the same wave);

  • And finally, and not least as commented yesterday that Pueblos Remotos has already transcended Carlos Ya Elsa as a project; because their soul of good people is already within that project and they do not need to be so that people who participate in their experiences (such as we or the participants of some other previous edition) enjoy something (transcendent) that in The current society that we live sounds like it: from the current moment, being present with the people around you and working in remote in pueblos remotos empowering a local and sustainable life.

  • In addition, just today, when the third birthday of the project is celebrated, they launch their impact report 2021-2023.

For a long life to (the) remote peoples! Thanks for reading me.

P.S:

  1. I hope this article motivates you to create something that transcends more than your person, since we are a medium in life; And as Marco Aurelio would say "you have to remember the Mori Memento."

  2. On the other hand, this article has been written while the following songs sounded (transcendent):

    1. «We are the world» - Official 35th Anniversary Video

(part of the documentary The Greatest Night on Pop )

    2. "Something that serves how Luz" - (part of the interview "Supersubmarina is still alive because we are alive")
"Supersubmarina is still alive because we are alive": end to his silence after his accident | The country
